Manager, Customs & Global Event Freight

📋 Description

• Own the global transportation function from start to finish, ensuring moves are delivered on time
• Connect with different departments, including production, finance, legal, and tax, to ensure
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics coordinators across multiple time zones, reviewing movements
• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements—including
• Assign transport requests based on team capacity, bandwidth, and project specialty; step in to
• Act as the main point of contact for 3PLs and freight forwarders, negotiating contracts and pricing

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Proven track record negotiating contracts and pricing with carriers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders.
• Comfortable with ERP systems, Excel / Google Sheets, and data visualization to track KPIs and costs.
