Manager, Data Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Grow and lead a data engineering team supporting diverse stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to build maintainable data architectures.
• Design and oversee scalable, cloud-native data architecture for batch and real-time pipelines.
• Develop a vision for the data platform; set data quality standards.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, security and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize initiatives and manage projects.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in product/business analytics, data/analytics engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on people management experience.
• Experience coding in Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery) and BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Domo).
• Expert SQL; dimensional modeling; distill requirements for all stakeholders; AI experiments.
