📋 Description

• Build and lead a sourcing team for datacenter compute hardware
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps with engineering teams
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, and multi-sourcing
• Orchestrate demand across SpaceXAI and align roadmaps with vendors for capacity
• Negotiate agreements on pricing, volume, tech access, and delivery
• Monitor supply chain risks and drive mitigations for critical components

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 8+ years in supply chain, engineering, or business; or 12+ years in related fields
• 6+ years in global supply chain, procurement, or commodity management for compute hardware
• 3+ years of people management
• 3+ years building, leading, and managing sourcing teams
• Technical understanding of datacenter compute architectures, GPUs, CPUs, storage
• On-site in Austin, TX or Palo Alto, CA; travel; hyperscale/AI infra exp
