📋 Description

• Lead the DevRel team for open source projects (Open Lakehouse stack: Spark, Delta Lake, Unity
• Coach developers, deliver talks, host panels, and create blogs and videos to drive adoption.
• Collaborate with Apache/SF Foundation ecosystems and maintainers to align product goals with
• Develop content flywheels and repeatable advocacy approaches for scale.
• Partner with product/engineering to expand external open source contributions and maintain high
• Define and defend success metrics for the open source DevRel program.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in developer relations or similar technical role.
• 2+ years managing a DevRel team and career development for advocates.
• Hands-on background with open source projects and demonstrated contribution.
• Strong relationships within Apache and Linux Foundation ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Iceberg, MLflow, and Omnigent.
• Excellent communication across writing, teaching, video, and public speaking.

🎁 Benefits

• Pay Range: $155,100 – $213,300 USD (Zone 2).
