Manager – Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers through recruitment, onboarding, regular feedback
• Oversee day-to-day engineering execution, including planning, prioritization, delivery, release
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews
• Guide technical design and architectural decisions while contributing to broader platform strategy
• Translate business and product requirements into actionable engineering plans, balancing roadmap
• Oversee the development and maintenance of backend services, applications, RESTful APIs, database

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in backend
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience, including direct people management
• Strong programming experience with Python, Go, or comparable backend languages.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Gin.
• Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including database schema design
