• Lead a cohesive engineering team building Beyond's product evolution.
• Stay close to code, strengthen CI/CD, and use AI tooling to boost speed.
• Coach engineers, mentor growth, and drive accountability.
• Review code, designs, tests, and CI/CD changes to raise quality and maintainability.
• Back up the team in the trenches: pair on hard problems and incidents.
• Shape architectural, tooling, and roadmap decisions to improve outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering in production.
• 5+ years of engineering management in a startup with 8-10 direct reports.
• Comfortable reading, reviewing, and writing code in your team's stack.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted engineering tools while preserving security and code quality.
• Track record of improving team performance with CI/CD, risk-based testing, observability.
• Fluency in English.
