📋 Description

• Set and communicate strategy for payment systems.
• Refine team processes for prioritization and sprint planning.
• Build relationships and rhythms with peers and stakeholders in India and the US.
• Collaborate with Staff and Sr. Staff engineers to align architecture trade-offs.
• Coach and mentor engineers with empathy as they grow in their roles and responsibilities.
• Create deliberate plans to address technical debt and quality, facilitating learning and culture.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager; 9+ years industry with BS/Masters or 6+ years with a PhD.
• Strong coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.
• Experience architecting, building, and maintaining highly available services in a large SOA.
• Familiarity with patterns, libraries and frameworks for building/testing services, and service-to-service communication.
• Expertise proactively managing and communicating dependencies across parallel tracks of work and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing distributed teams of varying experience levels.
