Manager, Environmental Health & Safety

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary EHS business partner for assigned Operations-based functions.
• Provide routine field presence, coaching, consultation, and practical EHS guidance to employees
• Apply strong technical knowledge of critical safe work requirements, including hot work
• Conduct and support EHS risk assessments, job hazard analyses, pre-task planning
• Support compliance with applicable local, state, and federal EHS requirements and AbbVie standards
• Lead or support incident and near-miss investigations, determine root and contributing causes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, science, or a related field with at least 5 years of
• EHS support experience in industrial, operational, laboratory, engineering, construction, or
• Knowledge of critical safe work practices, including hot work, LOTO, working at heights, confined
• Experience with risk assessments, inspections, audits, investigations, compliance, training
• Contractor and construction safety experience preferred.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical controls, manage competing priorities, communicate
