📋 Description

• Redesign and strengthen Airwallex’s FCC monitoring and testing approach across the Americas.
• Build and deliver a regional assurance plan covering the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico, aligned to
• Map the control inventory to regional risk assessments, identify gaps in testing coverage by entity
• Use data analytics and AI thoughtfully to make monitoring and testing more proactive, efficient and
• Partner with local and regional MLROs, FCC Operations, Product, the VP of FCC, regulators, banking
• Establish strong working relationships across a new global function, operating independently across

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of global AML and Sanctions frameworks, including regulatory expectations across
• Proven experience in program monitoring and testing, with evidence of enhancing the effectiveness
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to engage senior
• Experience operating in a second-line financial crime compliance, risk or assurance function, with
• Strong understanding of sanctions oversight and its role within an FCC Program.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage your own workload and deliver high-quality, well-documented
