Manager, Fluid Systems Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a high-performing fluid systems engineering team for spacecraft hardware.
• Provide technical direction for design, development, integration, and qualification of fluid systems.
• Own execution of hardware programs from concept through production, launch, and on-orbit ops.
• Drive architecture decisions and system-level engineering using first principles.
• Partner with systems engineering, manufacturing, test, quality, supply chain and program teams to deliver flight-ready hardware.
• Lead design reviews; ensure designs meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and safety.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in mechanical, fluid, thermal, propulsion, ECLSS, or space systems.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or engineering management.
• Experience leading hardware development from concept to test, qualification, and production.
• Strong understanding of fluid systems and mechanical design.
• Experience in collaborative, fast-paced development environments.
