Own and evolve sanctions function across geographies and regional teams
Partner with Engineering and Product to modernize sanctions operations at Stripe
Drive the sanctions transformation roadmap; push automation and smarter detection
Ensure audit trails, explainability, and examiner-readiness for regulatory exams
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex casework

🎯 Requirements

At least 10 years in sanctions compliance or financial crimes with senior leadership roles across regions
Deep expertise in OFAC, EU, HMT, UN sanctions and screening methodologies
Proven track record of improving sanctions program operations
Experience evaluating or transitioning sanctions tooling, including vendor platforms
Ability to partner credibly with Engineering and Product on tooling design and workflow automation
Experience with sanctions screening platforms and AI-assisted screening tools
