📋 Description

• Lead government affairs strategy across national, prefectural, and municipal levels in Japan
• Monitor AI policy and regulatory shifts, craft responses to governmental initiatives
• Translate technical and business objectives into effective policy advocacy
• Cultivate relationships with lawmakers, regulators, and trade bodies
• Support public sector sales and technology/procurement policies
• Manage government relations consultants and trade associations

🎯 Requirements

• Native fluency in Japanese and English
• 10 to 12+ years of leadership experience in corporate government affairs and political/government
• Deep AI policy expertise
• Background in national security, defense, cybersecurity, or regulated industries preferred
• Experience supporting public-sector sales and government procurement
• Bias for action and self-starter attitude
