📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of Applied Scientists across the suite.
• Define the technical vision and roadmap for agentic AI/ML across the suite.
• Stay hands-on as a technical contributor to move prototypes to production.
• Shape how AI capabilities are built and delivered across the suite with product/engineering.
• Hire and onboard Applied Scientists as Datadog scales its AI/ML.
• Represent the team's progress to stakeholders across Product Analytics and AI.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced technical leader in applied AI/ML with hands-on research.
• People manager with strong technical credibility.
• Comfortable with greenfield ambiguity, defining direction where little exists.
• Experience moving ML/AI from prototype to production (analytics/NLP/behavior).
• Clear communicator of AI/ML concepts to product and engineering.
• Motivated by early-stage, high-impact work and ambiguity.
