Manager I, Engineering - Code Security

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building Datadog's Infra as Code and Secrets security products
• Own the team's roadmap, staffing, and delivery with PM and UX partners
• Stay hands-on: review code, influence design, participate in on-call
• Bring AI into how the team builds, from agentic coding tools to workflows
• Coach engineers, provide feedback, and expand their scope and careers
• Keep projects organized as priorities shift in a fast-growing area

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years managing software engineers with shipping track record
• Strong technical background for roadmap and design conversations
• Comfortable reviewing code and unblocking decisions
• Experience integrating AI agents into delivery of code
• Ability to keep programs organized as scope shifts
