Manager, Legislative Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide legal expertise to Lyft’s Public Policy team on legislative issues.
• Track, analyze, and evaluate proposed legislation across topic areas, identifying risks and
• Draft legislative language, amendments, and recommendations that reflect the interests of Lyft’s
• Identify legislative trends and develop responsive strategies across subject matters and
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assess legislative impacts and inform decision-making.
• Partner with Lyft’s regional Public Policy team members on market-specific legislative efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree required.
• 5+ years of experience with legislative drafting for a local, state and/or federal legislative
• Exceptional ability to critically analyze policy and legal issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding (and sometimes unstructured) environment.
• Self-starter; intrinsically motivated.
