Manager of IT Security (Remote)

📋 Description

• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of security engineers and analysts — setting clear
• Guiding your team through the day-to-day work of vulnerability management, incident detection and
• Driving execution of multi-year security initiatives, helping translate strategy into execution and
• Partnering with senior stakeholders/leadership to develop and maintain information security
• Evaluating security technologies and controls — from proof-of-concept testing to vendor
• Spotting the root causes behind technical and operational problems, not just the surface symptoms

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security, with meaningful exposure across multiple
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of security professionals, including hiring, coaching
• Working experience securing both on-premises and cloud environments, with a solid understanding of
• Demonstrated ability to communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical
• Experience contributing to or executing security roadmaps, policies or programs in a growing or
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field (Preferred)
