Manager of Monitoring Operations

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the enterprise monitoring operations team.
• Oversee daily ops of BMC Helix On-Prem, Entuity, and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Ensure service quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Govern ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) and security/compliance.
• Manage upgrades, patches, capacity planning, and health checks.
• Oversee server (Windows/Linux/AIX), network, DB, and synthetic URL monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years IT experience; 5+ years in monitoring operations.
• Hands-on with at least two of: BMC Helix Monitoring, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Prometheus/OTEL/Grafana, ParkPlace Entuity.
• Monitoring architecture design, capacity planning, performance tuning, and ITSM integration.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and operational best practices.
• Strong leadership, people mgmt, and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT; certifications in OpenShift/Kubernetes, BMC Helix, ITIL preferred.
