Manager, Research Partnerships

📋 Description

• Manage external R&D collaborations with Oxford-based partners from contracting to delivery.
• Oversee projects such as post-doc programs, observational and mechanistic studies.
• Coordinate with AbbVie R&D teams across Immunology Discovery, Precision Medicine, Clinical Ops.
• Lead meetings with internal and external partners; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Build dashboards/tools to track project progress.
• Identify opportunities to maximise scientific value and propose amendments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in life sciences with 10+ years experience.
• Master’s with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years.
• Experience managing complex cross-sector biomedical collaborations.
• Experience reviewing/negotiating research agreements (CDA/MTA/SOW).
• Understanding compliance, data sharing, IP, legal, privacy and regulatory aspects.
• Knowledge of UK life sciences ecosystem and European landscape.
• Project management: budgeting, critical path, forecasting, risk.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
