Manager, Software Development Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a software engineering team building StrongDM’s proxy and control-plane platform.
• Translate roadmaps into operational plans and oversee delivery across the Delinea Platform.
• Staffing, resourcing, and cross-functional alignment with product, architects, and DevOps/SRE.
• Ensure high performance, security, and maintainability in distributed systems written in Go.
• Guide code/design reviews, security protocols (TLS/mTLS) and cryptographic systems.
• Collaborate on roadmaps and architecture, including Cedar policy-based authorization and Zero

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 2+ years leading software engineering teams; strong hands-on background.
• Minimum 5 years in professional software engineering and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar) and high-scale network services.
• Ability to translate roadmaps into actionable plans and manage resources.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and Cedar.
