📋 Description

• You will lead and grow a well-balanced engineering team; set expectations and develop engineers.
• Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap tied to trust and business goals.
• Empower your tech lead and engineers in design and quality; provide hands-on support.
• Own availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems; on-call.
• Keep the team shipping in small increments with sprint-sized milestones and clear ownership.
• Partner across Product, Design, Analytics, and other Engineering teams to build trust.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
• Track record of managing performance directly—setting clear expectations and candid feedback.
• Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability; empower senior engineers to decide.
• Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end, decoupling or re-platforming systems.
• Familiar with modern full-stack development—React or React Native and a BFF backend.
