Manager, Systems Engineering

📋 Description

• Own deployment, management and support of systems for Canadian sovereign cloud on GCP and globally
• Lead engineering team for definition, configuration, delivery, and validation of compute across
• Collaborate with Product/Program management to define team commitments and roadmap.
• Foster autonomy through project planning, prioritization, Agile processes, and skills development.
• Support growth of engineers via hiring, development plans, and performance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for system/process optimization and architectural reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience integrating AI into work processes or AI-driven insights.
• 8+ years leading systems/software development and DevOps in global 24x7 environment (or 6+ years
• People management experience with technical operations/DevOps teams.
• Deep fluency in public cloud, infra automation, DevOps, software engineering principles.
• Proficient with infrastructure components, OS, virtualization, Azure, web apps and databases.
• Experience with production-scale public clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP).

🎁 Benefits

• Base pay: 125,700 - 220,000 CAD, plus equity where applicable, variable incentive, and benefits.
