Manager, Systems Engineering

📋 Description

• Oversee deployment, management and support of systems in our Canadian sovereign cloud on GCP and
• Lead engineering team for compute across private and public cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with Product/Program management to define commitments and roadmap
• Support project planning, Agile processes, and skill development
• Hire, set goals, and develop engineers; conduct performance reviews
• Provide technical guidance for system and process optimization and architectural reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving
• 8+ years leading systems/software development and DevOps in a global 24x7 production environment
• People management experience in a technical operations/DevOps context
• Deep fluency in public cloud, infrastructure automation, and software engineering principles
• Proficient with infrastructure components: public cloud, OS (Linux), virtualization, web apps and
• Public cloud production experience (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
