Managing Associate General Counsel - Privacy

📋 Description

• Lead privacy program and data governance initiatives.
• Provide practical privacy counsel to Security, Product, and Engineering.
• Advise on privacy laws for AI, ML, clinical data, and sensitive data.
• Build cross-functional privacy programs aligned with HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, biometric laws.
• Manage government/regulator discussions and disclosures on privacy matters.
• Draft and update privacy policies, playbooks, and training materials company-wide.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of privacy experience in-house, health tech, or tech law firms.
• Experience leading, developing, advising, and evaluating programs ensuring product compliance.
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy, plus CCPA/CPRA and biometric laws.
• Proven track record leading a team.
• JD from an accredited law school; active membership in a US state bar.
• Strong communication and ability to translate legal requirements for technical audiences.
