📋 Description

• Managing a team of editors and their reporters focused on the three branches of the federal
• Helping determine content for CQ products, including CQ Magazine, newsletters and CQ website.
• Helping determine content for Roll Call newspaper, including setting the plan for each print
• Coordinating with team leaders and assignment editors as needed to ensure the editorial vision is
• Coordinating with the Managing Editor for Legislative Policy on operations and production
• Coordinating with the Managing Editor for News Production on operations and production, including

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in a newsroom in an editor role
• Knowledge of CQ and RollCall systems and processes
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of work experience in daily journalism, preferably focused on policy and political
