Manufacturing / Automation Designer

📋 Description

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions to boost efficiency and quality
• Design and implement production molds, including metal and 3D-printed systems
• Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings for parts and assemblies
• Support 3D printing initiatives: design, prototyping, and production components
• Analyze processes and implement improvements to boost throughput and reduce waste
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and shop teams to optimize fabrication

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• 3–5+ years in manufacturing design, drafting, or engineering support
• Proficiency in INVENTOR, VAULT, and AutoCAD (2D/3D)
• Experience designing jigs, fixtures, molds, or production tooling
• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies in manufacturing
• Understanding fabrication processes, machining, and assembly methods
