Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly

📋 Description

• Evaluate and implement digital tools to expand the virtual shop floor with dashboards.
• Develop manufacturing processes including flow, assembly methods, and labor standards.
• Design, develop, and test tools, fixtures, and equipment for manufacturing.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions for standardized processes.
• Identify root causes and lead corrective actions to improve quality and reduce scrap.
• Drive Lean initiatives (Kaizen, Gemba, 6S) to improve efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 3-5 years in sheet metal fabrication preferred.
• Mechanical/electrical skills and working knowledge of IE tools.
• Proficiency reading drawings, tolerances, schematics, BOMs, routings.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar and MS Office.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and systematic problem solving.
• Understanding Lean concepts and use of Lean tools.
• Strong initiative with excellent communication and time management.
