Manufacturing Engineer II

📋 Description

• Support development and optimization of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve quality, yield, and productivity.
• Assist with commissioning, validation, and startup of new manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Work closely with operations and technicians to resolve manufacturing issues and implement process improvements.
• Develop work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Support root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools and implement corrective actions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, automation, or mechanical design (internship and co-op experience considered).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Experience analyzing engineering or manufacturing data using Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues using a structured approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
