Design and implement automated production cells, fixtures, and tooling for optical assembly.
Create and modify CAD models for tooling, fixtures, interfaces, and equipment.
Assist product-to-manufacturing handoff during NPI with process development and first article.
Develop and document assembly processes, work instructions, and validation procedures.
Build, test, and debug production equipment and prototype hardware.
Analyze yield and metrology data for root-cause investigations and improvements.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
Experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
Internship/co-op/early-career in hardware, robotics, automation, or manufacturing.
Experience designing tooling, fixtures, or jigs for assembly/test.
Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB) for process data.
Familiarity with PFMEA, process capability studies, and SPC.
