Own the mapping request queue end to end: intake, clarify needs, scope work, track status.
Create and edit HD maps (lanes/intersections/routes) using JOSM and Lanelet2/OpenStreetMap.
Submit map changes via PRs; follow maps-as-code workflow and Map CI validation.
Validate changes in simulation, then test on the Atlanta tractor.
Capture evidence (videos/results) and document testing results.
Maintain map hygiene—prune duplicates, consistent naming/versioning, scalable process.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in CS, Geomatics/GIS, Robotics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded approach to high-stakes work.
Comfortable with Git and standard PR/code-review workflow.
Basic scripting ability (Python preferred); comfortable with Linux and CLI.
Ownership mindset, clear communication, and ability to manage a queue under shifting priorities.
Based in or relocating to Atlanta; comfortable on-site.
