Mapping Operations Lead

📋 Description

• Lead the mapping team; set priorities and manage workloads.
• Own weekly and sprint production calendar for mapping and field tests.
• Run daily standups, triage blockers, and prioritize work to keep pipeline moving.
• Mentor mapping specialists; conduct reviews and set QC standards.
• Act as primary escalation point for map data issues and triage tasks.
• Build and maintain a triage playbook for quick issue resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in HD map production or geospatial data ops for AV/robotics.
• Experience leading or coordinating a team of technical contributors.
• Strong understanding of HD map formats (OpenDRIVE, NDS) and annotation pipelines.
• Experience with point clouds, 3D visualization, or LiDAR annotation tools.
• Familiarity with simulation environments (CARLA, LGSVL) and map data for sim validation.
