Material Handler

📋 Description

• Unload, unpack, and organize materials in designated storage areas.
• Maintain inventory using ERP/spreadsheets and perform cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Transport materials between production areas and assist with production prep.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Follow 5S and PPE safety guidelines; collaborate with manufacturing/engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of material handling, safe lifting, and storage techniques.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems; strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
• Ability to perform simple math and basic computer literacy.
