Materials R&D Technician, Silicon Crystal Growth

📋 Description

• Partner with engineering to bring online silicon ingot and wafer lines.
• Drive equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Prepare raw materials, seeds, and hot zone components for crystal growth.
• Execute DOEs and process trials for seeding, optimization, and defect mitigation.
• Characterize ingot and wafer; maintain lab equipment and calibration.
• Adhere to EHS, 5S, and cleanroom standards in a safe, organized workspace.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years in silicon crystal growth or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals safely.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in STEM (preferred).
• 5+ years in silicon crystal growth manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to follow complex procedures and safety requirements.
