Mechanical AIT Engineer - Japan

📋 Description

• Lead the mechanical integration of the satellite (structure, payload, solar arrays, propulsion
• Own vibration test campaigns end to end: test specification, fixtures, instrumentation, execution
• Act as primary technical contact for mechanical integration issues, performing root cause analysis
• Survey, evaluate and select suppliers and test facilities for mechanical parts, MGSE and fixtures
• Contribute to and improve AIT documentation, including mechanical integration procedures, test
• Interface with Global AIT, Mechanical/Structures Engineering, QA and Launch teams to ensure

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, integration or testing of complex systems
• Hands-on experience planning and executing vibration testing (sine, random, shock), including
• Solid understanding of spacecraft mechanical architecture: structures, fasteners and torque
• Experience writing and executing integration and test procedures under a quality and configuration
• Experience handling non conformances and performing root cause analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use 3D CAD for fixture and MGSE design, including GD&T.
