📋 Description

  • Support end-to-end mechanical assembly of Parallel’s first production vehicles.
  • Perform hands-on assembly with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and fixtures.
  • Read and follow mechanical drawings, work instructions, torque specs, and build docs.
  • Identify quality issues and assembly challenges; work with engineers to fix.
  • Train and support additional technicians as the manufacturing team grows.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years hands-on mechanical assembly experience in shop/manufacturing environments.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and torque specifications.
  • Experience assembling complex mechanical systems (vehicles, rail systems, aerospace).
  • Comfort in a low-volume environment with evolving processes.
  • Strong attention to detail; communicate with engineers; travel to contract manufacturer.
