📋 Description

• Create part packaging solutions optimized for automation, packing density, material handling, and
• Drive improvements to part design and manufacturing line equipment to enhance efficiency and
• Collaborate with Product Design and Material Flow Engineering to develop Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
• Optimize part designs for inbound logistics, automation pick-ability, handling, and manufacturing
• Establish best practices for automation-focused packaging and maintain a reliable source of truth
• Promote modular and off-the-shelf technologies where appropriate to reduce design time and improve

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, product design, or a combination of mechanical design
• Proven experience designing components or systems from concept through production validation.
• Extensive knowledge of packaging design and material handling equipment, particularly within
• Strong understanding of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with automation equipment, fixtures, and the integration of equipment designs into
