Mechanical Design Engineer - Instruments & Accessories

📋 Description

• Design and develop complex mechanical, electromechanical, and robotic surgical instruments.
• Execute end-to-end engineering process: concept generation, prototyping, testing
• Generate product requirements and functional specifications for safety, performance, durability.
• Develop mechanical design and manufacturing documentation (inspection procedures, assembly
• Create and maintain SolidWorks CAD databases.
• Contribute to project and technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related
• Minimum 3 years designing mechanical engineering products or relevant engineering experience
• Expertise in high-precision mechanisms, electromechanical systems, and complex tolerance stacks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive new product ideas from concept to launch in regulated environments.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals: first-principles analysis, FEA, GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
• Highly proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred): complex assemblies, production documentation
