Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Rapid hands-on development delivering robust electro-mechanical products through to production.
• Design and iterate parts and assemblies to make them easy to manufacture and assemble.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to optimize designs and streamline manufacturing processes.
• Spend time on the farm with farmers, ranchers, and animals to ensure ergonomic design.
• Contribute to a high performance team and help with various tasks to support customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 1+ years of professional experience working on robust hardware.
• Capable with 3D CAD and 2D drafting, preferably using Solidworks or Onshape.
• Available to travel 10-20% of the year.
• Experience in designing complex injection molded parts, including overmolding.
• Experience in Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
