Mechanical Engineer- Data Centers

📋 Description

• Lead mechanical engineering evaluations for prospective data center sites, colocation
• Conduct technical due diligence on cooling capacity, mechanical systems, equipment feasibility, and
• Assess cooling approaches including liquid cooling, air cooling, hybrid solutions, chiller plants
• Provide technical recommendations and Go/No-Go input based on mechanical feasibility, project
• Define mechanical assumptions for capacity planning, project budgets, schedules, and risk
• Partner with engineering teams to establish cooling topology, equipment strategies, redundancy, and

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data center mechanical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical
• Strong expertise in cooling topology design, liquid cooling systems, chiller plants, and CRAH/CRAC
• Experience evaluating mechanical feasibility for data center sites or facilities before commercial
• Solid understanding of mechanical capacity planning, equipment selection, redundancy strategies
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center, AI infrastructure, or large-scale technology
• Knowledge of BMS controls integration and mechanical systems commissioning processes.
