Mechanical Engineer- Data Centers

📋 Description

• Own technical evaluation of mechanical infrastructure across data center lifecycle
• Lead mechanical engineering evaluations for data center sites and build-to-suit projects
• Conduct due diligence on cooling capacity, mechanical systems, and infrastructure readiness
• Assess cooling approaches: liquid cooling, air cooling, hybrid, chillers, CRAH/CRAC for
• Provide technical recommendations and Go/No-Go input based on feasibility, risks, and requirements
• Define mechanical assumptions for capacity planning, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data center mechanical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical
• Strong expertise in cooling topology design, liquid cooling systems, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC
• Experience evaluating mechanical feasibility for data center sites prior to commitments
• Solid understanding of capacity planning, equipment selection, redundancy, and capex trade-offs
• Experience supporting hyperscale data centers, AI infrastructure, or large-scale tech environments
• Knowledge of BMS controls integration and mechanical commissioning processes
