Mechanical Engineer - Data Centers

📋 Description

• Own mechanical evaluation across data center lifecycle
• Lead site evaluations for data centers, colocation, build-to-suit
• Assess cooling approaches: liquid/air/hybrid, chiller, CRAH/CRAC
• Provide go/no-go input on feasibility and risks
• Define mechanical assumptions for capacity planning
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and commissioning

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data center mechanical engineering or MEP
• Expertise in cooling topology, liquid cooling, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC
• Experience evaluating mechanical feasibility pre-commitment
• Understanding of capacity planning, redundancy, capex trade-offs
• Experience with hyperscale AI infrastructure preferred
• BMS integration and commissioning knowledge
