Mechanical Engineer- Data Centers

📋 Description

• Own technical evaluation of mechanical infrastructure across data center lifecycle
• Lead mechanical engineering evaluations for sites, colocation, and build-to-suit
• Assess cooling options: liquid/air/hybrid, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC for AI workloads
• Provide go/no-go input based on feasibility, risks, and operations
• Define mechanical assumptions for capacity planning, budgets, schedules, and risks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to set cooling topology, redundancy, and design criteria

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data center mechanical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical systems
• Strong expertise in cooling topology, liquid cooling, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC
• Experience evaluating mechanical feasibility for data center sites before commitments
• Solid understanding of capacity planning, redundancy, and capex trade-offs
• Experience supporting hyperscale AI infrastructure or large-scale tech environments preferred
• Knowledge of BMS integration and commissioning
