Mechanical Engineer, Kinematic Systems and Mechanisms

📋 Description

• Own design, analysis and validation of high‑performance moving systems for Helsing's drone platforms
• Work across kinematic synthesis, multi‑body dynamics, precision engineering and hands‑on prototype
• Translate complex mechanical requirements into flight‑worthy, testable hardware
• Collaborate with systems, structures and avionics teams across design reviews
• Develop robust mechanisms that meet environmental and operational conditions
• Lead iterative testing and validation campaigns to mature designs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with kinematic mechanisms, multi‑body dynamics, FEA and structural validation
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and motion/kinematic analysis tools (e.g., MSC Adams, MotionSolve
• Hands‑on prototype iteration and mechanism fabrication know‑how; GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Familiarity with CAD/PLM workflows (SolidWorks/Siemens NX, Teamcenter or equivalent)
• Ability to design for aerospace/defense environments and reliability under varying conditions
• Strong collaboration and ability to work across interdisciplinary teams
