📋 Description

• Create white-page designs for Form Energy Gen 2 products.
• Collaborate with vendors, ops, and manufacturing to scale prototypes to production.
• Lead verification analysis and testing of your designs.
• Establish best practices for fluid system design and mentor teammates.
• Recruit and hire engineers who share your design vision.
• Release designs with drawings and tolerance analyses per best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years in mechanical design of equipment (gas/liquid).
• Experience leading complex mechanical designs and managing 2+ direct reports.
• Understanding of first-principles modeling; optimizing for manufacturing and cost-down.
• Experience in manufacturing or with contract manufacturers.
• Demonstrated ability optimizing mechanical design, BOP interfaces of fluid systems.
• Direct experience in product development in an early-stage environment.
