Mechanical Inspector

📋 Description

• Inspect, test, and evaluate welds, vessels, exchangers, and related equipment.
• Verify compliance with ASME, API, NBIC and applicable regulations.
• Review quality docs (WPS/PQR) and issue corrective actions.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds and procedures.
• Conduct in-service, turnaround, and RBI inspections.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting results.

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510/570 certification (one of).
• 5+ years welding-related inspection exp; 2 years QA/vendor surveillance.
• Experience in oil & gas, power/utility, construction, and manufacturing.
• Inspect welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
• Witness NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT) and verify reports.
• Strong communication with welders, engineers and personnel.
