Mechanical Service Technician

📋 Description

• Ensure mechanical systems meet customer expectations
• React to field issues promptly; inform customer of plan and costs
• Perform field service at customer sites: install, commission, test, and repair
• Install, inspect, and service mechanical components (sprockets, belts, bearings, gearboxes, motors)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to resolution
• Perform preventative maintenance to enhance ongoing machine performance

🎯 Requirements

• Industrial trade qualification in mechanical/mechatronics/electrical or related field, or equivalent degree
• 3+ years of experience as a field service engineer or equivalent
• Troubleshooting experience with mechanical or electrical equipment
• Knowledge of PLC and mechanical assembly and electrical wiring
• Experience in PC building, repairing and diagnostic testing; MS Office
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
