Mechatronics Integration Engineer, Vehicle OS

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end product development process of Applied's autonomy and drive-by-wire system and lead
• Build a deep understanding of mining vehicle system architecture and software-hardware
• Design and evaluate sensors, actuators, and communication technologies into existing vehicle systems
• Lead the embedded application development and integration of the electromechanical systems into
• Act as the primary technical expertise for firmware/mechatronics systems: triage issues, collect
• Partner with customer operations teams to establish operating procedures, training, and go/no-go

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software integration or development
• BS or MS in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or Electrical
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, including assembly, setup, and debugging
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software/firmware engineering, especially
• Strong communication skills and comfort acting as the primary customer-facing engineer on-site
• Experience with system debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
