Medical Assistant

📋 Description

• Prepare participants for appointments; set up exam rooms, check in/out, obtain history.
• Measure and document vital signs during pre-exam assessments.
• Perform procedures under physician supervision (dressings, suture removals).
• Collect and prepare lab specimens; sterilize medical and dental equipment.
• Maintain clinic logs; stock, sanitize and re-prep exam rooms.
• Assist with scheduling, greet participants, and file medical records.

🎯 Requirements

• Certification by a MA certifying organization approved by the state medical board.
• Two years' experience as MA in a clinical setting with frail/elderly.
• Two-year degree program in medical assisting.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire; preferred at hire.
