Medical Assistant

📋 Description

• Assist providers, nurses, and on-site specialists in care delivery at the WelbeHealth clinic
• Schedule appointments, greet participants, file medical records, and manage intake
• Take and record vital signs; prepare exam rooms; maintain equipment
• Engage in both clinical care and front-office interactions to build relationships
• Balance quality care with efficiency to avoid rushed patient volumes
• Maintain clinic logs and ensure rooms are stocked and sanitized

🎯 Requirements

• Certification by a MA certifying organization approved by the state medical board
• 2 years MA experience in a clinical setting with frail/elderly population
• 2-year degree program in medical assistance
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Reliable means of transportation
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire (preferred)
