📋 Description

• Receive, sort and register patient specimens accurately, ensuring all samples are processed in line
• Prepare samples for analysis, including data entry and sample registration using the Laboratory
• Support Biomedical Scientists and Associate Practitioners with the preparation of samples and
• Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, automated analysers and pipettes, in

🎯 Requirements

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and a Science-related subject
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline is
• Previous experience working within a hospital, private laboratory or scientific environment
• Good understanding of laboratory procedures, health and safety practices, and the handling of
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and confidence using computer-based systems
• Strong data entry and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
