Medical Records and Health Information Manager

📋 Description

• Lead all medical records and release of information operations.
• Ensure HIPAA, state regs, payer requirements, and CARF standards compliance.
• Design and implement scalable HIM workflows, policies, and tracking systems.
• Develop reporting metrics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Clinical Ops, Technology, and Quality teams.
• Train staff on medical records processes, documentation, privacy, and patient access rights.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Health Information Management or related healthcare ops (5+ preferred)
• Strong HIPAA/privacy rules knowledge
• Experience handling high-volume medical records requests
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience developing workflows, SOPs, and process improvements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
